Chiapas - Finca Las Chicharras
Description: Finca Las Chicharras (“Cicada” in English) is a contender in the Cup Of Excellence competition in Mexico, and it’s no surprise once you try the coffee from this farm. This is quite a feat for E-Cafe Chiapas, the operation who runs the farm. They began as an exporter in 2007, they proceeded to build a processing plant in 2013, and in 2015 bought their first Finca ( Farm in Spanish ) In just 3 short years they took 5th at the Cup of Excellence competition in Mexico, A competition that draws in the best of the best!
This was a popular coffee on our menu once before and we know it it will be once again. If you haven't had coffee from the state of Chiapas in Mexico, you're in for a pleasant surprise.
